Description

AFTER COMPLETION OF THE TRAINING THE PARTICIPANT SHOULD BE ABLE TO :

* Explain the steps to follow in a Radio Network Planning project.
* Define, for the different radio access technologies, the common and specific requirements to take into consideration when designing a network.
* Use a Radio Network Proposal Tool RNPT to translate the fixed requirements into equippement needs (plan for cluster capacity).
* List the main caracteristics of the radio channel and its effects on the radio wave propagation.
* perform link budget calculations for the uplink and downlink and find the proper output power values.
* identify the design parametrers that determine the cell coverage.
* Use Atoll Radio planning and Optimization software to perform coverage predictions and tune the cell parameters to meet the fixed targets.

Said Mokrab is a telecommunucation expert with 37 years exprience.

23 years in PTT where he does the engineering of different switching and transmission networks so he was  an actor and Witness in the same time for digitalization of the telecommunication and its networks in our country

14 years at Mobilis as head of planning and optimization departement his main task was
 - Planning and Optimization of the majority of the sites in West Area Oran.
- Planning indoor antennas in hotels.
- Drive test analysis as well as KPI's with physical and soft solutions
- Highway Site Planning in the Western Region
- Resolution of holes coverage at the north-western border with
Morocco.
- Author of a load-sharing solution on a non-soft solution like the
old versions ZTE.
- Author of solutions to prevent the intrusion of signals from Spain
on the beaches and wild creeks.
- Study for negative impact of the sand for the propagation of waves
and some solutions.
- Creation of innovation in order to cover remotely wild beaches in
the West.
